Especially designed for non destructive coating thickness measurement, this portable gauge measure paint, lacquer, plastic and other insulating coating on plastic, wood, glass and other substrates. Also polymer coating on metal substrates can be measured. Special feature: the gauge can measure the total coating thickness or separate the different layers of a multi-layer coating in just one operation !
      Measuring range: 10 … 500 microns. A data memory for storing up to 10,000 readings is available for immediately or subsequent statistical evaluation of your measuring series.

This system is unaffected by variation in density, humidity and colour of material to be measure as well as unaffected by variation in temperature or vibration of the surround field.
